Hans Puijk

Hans Puijk is a third-generation softfruit grower and the owner/director of the Puijk Group, which includes Puijk Fruit, specializing in the cultivation of blackberries, redcurrants, and raspberries; Puijk Plant, focused on the high-quality propagation of raspberry, blackberry, and redcurrant plants; Puijk Consultancy, providing strategic advice on crop planning, fertilization, crop protection, and water management; and Puijk Research, conducting practical research and innovation on varieties, yield, taste, and harvesting techniques.

Within the group, Hans also leads BrightBerries, which focuses entirely on the breeding and innovation of new softfruit varieties, with an emphasis on flavor, yield, and shelf life, in close collaboration with international growers and partners.
