Ten years later, the cherry meets Freskon again!
The 2nd International Cherry Congress of Freskon is currently in an intensive preparation phase. It will take place next April in Thessaloniki, as part of the 10th Freskon exhibition. Preparations have already begun for an event that aspires to become a key reference point for the entire cherry value chain.
Ten years after the first congress, this new gathering will revisit the analyses and conclusions of the original event, while also presenting the latest developments in cultivation, standardization, preservation, and marketing of the product. Expert scientists, producers, exporters, and representatives from international markets will highlight the growth prospects of cherries in an environment of increasing competition and ongoing challenges.
By evaluating the past, present, and future trends, the 2nd International Cherry Congress aims to chart new horizons for a flagship product of Greek horticulture—renowned for its quality, flavor, and strong position in international markets.
